Sworn Translation – Death Certificate
A death certificate is an official document issued in by a General Register or Vital Records Office. This official document is just as important as the marriage certificate or birth certificate and it is used to legally confirm that a person has died.
It may be necessary, for example, to apply for a widowhood pension, surrender a life insurance policy, accept or disclaim an inheritance, close a bank account, terminate rental or utility contracts or request the closing of a personal profile on the internet. These translations must be certified by a sworn translator in order to have legal validity.
